Nine leading architectural firms with experience in developing innovative riverfronts, parks, and public spaces, were engaged to provide their visions for a unified aesthetic along Chicago’s riverfront.
The firms were asked to provide their visions for placemaking to create a continuous pedestrian and bicycle path with accessible connections and open spaces incorporating integrated landscaping, artwork, and lighting. Chicagoans and visitors are encouraged to examine their ideas and share their opinions about the best and most engaging concepts.
